"I have no idea what those are...but please don't kill anything." Anthony pleaded.

"I am sorry, I cannot promise you that" Derick looked down guilt clouding his eyes

Anthony pulled at Dericks shirt gently but desperately. "Please." he whispered, his eyes sorrowful. "If you dont think you c an't stop yourself please, come with me instead...." he looked down and knew that'd be the last option on anyone's list in town but his brothers.

"w-what?" Derick asked dumbfounded

"Come home with me...that way you don't kill any of them." Anthony looked at him eyes desperate for the killing to stop.

Derick desperately wanted to go home with Anthony, but he had responsibilities, "I would love to, but unfortunately... I have responsibilities in the army, and that I cannot turn my back on" Derick looked down ashamed of his words

"Please don't turn your back on me." Anthony whimpered still looking at him in a pathetic way.

"I would never wish that in a million years, but without the army, i've nowhere elce, and I cannot provide for my foster father without it" Derick looked down almost on the verge of tears again

Anthony looked down and nodded understandingly.

"But if you would allow, I can accompany you in an hour, and I will refrain from killing the elves" Derick promised in his question

Anthony looked up and nodded forcing a smile.

"You do not have to forcefully smile on my account, I have seen many sad faces, im not bothered by them" Derick smiled a sad smile

"you deserve a smile upon so many of those sad faces." Anthony answered.

"Do not burned yourself with that job" Derick pat Anthonys shoulder reasuring him that he was fine, and was going to keep t his word

Anthony nodded head down and turned starting to head home.
